Oak Creek Canyon Camping & RV Sites

Oak Creek Canyon camping is a wonderful way to take a break from the summer heat and cool off. Oak Creek Canyon is shaded by towering, red canyon walls and oak trees along a beautiful creek, making Oak Creek Canyon one of the most coveted places to go camping in Arizona. Campsites fill up quickly during peak season and closes during the winter as Oak Creek Canyon is known to get some snow accumulation every now and then but certainly gets cold and icy throughout the winter season. Each campground along Oak Creek Canyon has a nightly fee, but are devloped and all comes with basic facilities such as restrooms, water and fire rings. Some campgrounds accept reservations while others are first-come, first-serve. You may make a reservation where available though the campsite links below.

Activites available near campsites include fishing, swimming, cliff jumping, hiking and general outdoor exploration. If you are camping, please note that Oak Creek Canyon is extrememly popular. Visitors and campers MUST be considerate of the environment when recreating in this area. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH and use provided toilet facilities when available. Even consider bringing a trash bag with you to pick up other people's trash left behind when you recreate here. Teach your kids, family and friends outdoor responsibility and enviromental stewardship by example. But really, seriously, please don't leave your trash and avoid bringing glass to the creek at all costs!
